I have space for 10 traditional pencil or acrylic+ portraits and 10 stylised family portraits
Pricing
Traditional portraits: £200 - £500
Family ‘fun’ portraits: £120 - £200
How it works
For all options, I’ll send you a sketch/initial ideas first and, once you’re happy I can either send you progress updates or surprise you with the final piece.
Your portrait can be ether framed or unframed/mounted, and if it is a gift I’m happy to include a special note on the reverse.
Requests are on a first-come-first-served basis :)
Traditional portraits:
You can either provide your own image for me to work from or I can come and take photos to use as a reference if you live in: Dorset or London
I can work in situ, but there will be an additional, hourly cost for this (this can be a fun way to work and is a great way to get to know my sitter!)
Choose from either a traditional-style pencil drawing or medium of your choice from: acrylics, gouache, watercolour or oil pastel
Choose your preferred size up to A0 (for works larger than A0, I would need a little more time, with the cost reflecting this)
If you’re familiar with my artwork (I have a varied style!), I’m happy to produce whatever your favourite style is (nb I don’t have time for hyperrealism portraits this season!)
(Please note: this commission season is for human portraits only! Pets can be included in a family portrait though! - see below)
Family portraits:
This is a more ‘fun’ take on the traditional family portrait - it’s an illustrative version of you and your favourite people, and I encourage you to send me pics or notes of things that are meaningful to each person/you as a family unit to make it more special
This is a popular choice for a Christmas/birthday/celebration gift…for Christmas presents, I have a cut-off date of the end of November
It’s best to send me a photograph to work from - if you don’t have one of you all together, that’s fine - individual pics of each person, pet (or plant pet/significant inanimate item?!) is just as good
Choose a medium from: pencil, pen, coloured pencil, gouache, watercolour or digitally-produced
Choose your preferred size up to A3
If you’d like an additional set of greetings cards to accompany the piece, I can provide a discounted set, complete with envelopes and cello bags if required
